Hey MTV – Welcome to our Crib!
You may be sadly disappointed to learn that you won’t be getting my normal literary genius (or, as it’s been called, “snarky banter”) in these next few posts. But I’ll let the photos speak for themselves.
While some things will be adjusted a bit after we move into the main house, we’ve tried from the very beginning of this journey to make The Cottage in Nuggett Hill the perfect little home away from home. And as you’ll see, she’s come a long way.
First up: the living room.

We unfortunately didn’t take many photos of the cottage before, but as a bonus, I can tell you what it smelled like as you scroll through the few photos we do have.
Imagine with me, if you will, the scent of a city pool. Specifically, the dressing rooms.
I can’t tell you how or why, but that was, in fact, the signature scent of this space… before, of course.
