Like a broken record here, but we don’t have many before photos. Then again, how many ways can you photograph one big open shiplap garage? Needless to say, it’s vastly different than before, and sometimes it’s hard to remember that a car was once parked somewhere around where our sweet little pink bathtub now sits.

I still have a few tweaks planned for each of these rooms. Right now, we live and work here, so they’re full of our things. I have plans for new bedding, a different shower curtain (my kids have made it very clear they hate the khaki ruffle), a cute little setup for reviews, and a few branded touches for our guests.
For now, she’s been a cozy little home while we oversee the renovation of the main house, and a good test run to help us make everything just right for future guests.
Sometimes I wonder what the Martins would think of what we’ve done with this space. I’d like to think they’d be pleased to see their little garage turned cottage in Nuggett Hill still being loved, cared for, and given a new life.
Next up: We’ll be getting plastered in the house…
